How does Punch List work

The standard FACS Punch List template is designed to track issues or incomplete work that must be addressed before project completion.

Key Fields and Sections

General

  • Number (Required, Unique)

  • Subject

  • Location (Selected from Location list)

  • Priority (Selected from Priority list)

  • Date Identified (Required)

  • Type (Selected from Punch List Type list)

  • Due Date

  • Assignee

  • Creator (Auto-filled)

  • Description & Action Required (Multi-line text)

Contractor Actions

  • Corrective Actions Taken (Multi-line text)

  • Date Corrected

  • Corrected By (Text)

Confirmation

  • Confirmation Notes (Multi-line text)

  • Confirmed Completed By (Signature)

Additional Features

  • Includes standard fields: WorkflowContributorsCommentsReferences

  • Punch List has the following workflow:
    • Pending → Closed or Contractor Notified → In Progress or In Dispute → Corrected or Closed → Completed or Closed

Completed and Closed are locked statuses. Only a Project Administrator can move an entry back to Under Review once in a locked status.
