How to add Comments

Public or Private comments can be added to any entry with a Comments section.

 

 

Adding a new Comment

Number Description
1 Text field where comments are added.
2 Private Checkbox. Only Roles who have access to Private Comments will be able to view Comments marked as Private.
3 Notify Recipients. When selected, users who have access to this entry will receive an email notification that a comment has been added. See Notifications for more details.
4 Submit. Pressing this button will save the comment to the entry.

 

Editing an existing Comment

Number Description
1 Reply. Allows for nesting a reply under an existing comment. This allows for multiple threaded conversations to occur within a single document.
2 Edit. Allows for editing an existing comment.
3 Delete. Allows for deleting an existing comment. Deleting a comment will delete all nested comments as well.
4 Hide on Print. For Private Comments only, allows for the comment to be hidden when the entry is printed to a pdf.
5 Date and time the Comment was added to the platform.
6 Private. Displays if the comment is Private.

 

Private Comments

Number Description
1 Show on Print. For Private Comments only, allows for a previously hidden comment to display when the entry is printed to a pdf.
2 Hide on Print. Displays when a comment is set to be hidden when the entry is printed to a pdf.
