How to Make Sure You're Using the Latest Version of the Platform

We regularly release updates to the Platform with new features, improvements, and fixes. If you stay logged in for long periods, your browser can keep showing an older version of the Platform even after we've released an update. The Platform tells you when a newer version is ready, and updating takes one click.

Check for an Update

 

Look at the menu bar in the top right corner of the Platform. When a new version is available that hasn't automatically been installed, a Refresh icon (two curved arrows) appears to the left of the Search icon.

  • If you see the Refresh icon, an update is available.
  • If you don't see the icon, you're already on the latest version.

The Platform checks for updates automatically in the background, so you don't need to do anything to trigger the check.

Update to the Latest Version

  1. Hover over the Refresh icon. A message "New update available. Click to refresh." should appear.
  2. Click the icon. The page refreshes and loads the latest version of the Platform.
  3. Once the refresh finishes, the icon disappears.

TIP: Save any work in progress before you click the icon. If the page you're on has unsaved changes, you may be prompted to save them before the refresh completes.

If You Don't See the Icon but Something Looks Off

If a feature doesn't look or behave the way the release notes describe, you can update manually with either of these:

  • Force refresh your browser. Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).
  • Log out and log back in.
