# How to update Contributors

## Contributors shows which project users can access the document and what level of access they have.

Contributors, project users who have access to this specific document entry, can be viewed by hovering over the avatar icons located at the top of the page.

When hovered over, a popup will display the name of each User. If the User has uploaded an avatar image, that image will display next to their name.

If the document entry is being **Edited** then clicking on the Contributors will open the Contributor Flyout. Within the Contributor Flyout, you can see what level of access each user has and can add, or remove, user access from this specific entry.

The **Current contributors** are users who currently have some level of access to the entry.

The **Available contributors** are users who have access to the project, but do not have access to the entry. These are users who either have had their access to this entry removed or their project role does not give them access to this document template.

 

**NOTE:** Users with Project Administrator role cannot be removed from any Entry. These users will show as disabled (grayed out).
