Each Document Template has a log page that can be viewed at the Account and Project level.
Each Log Page provides a detailed view of entries within the Account or Project. To help you efficiently manage these logs, each page includes powerful tools for filtering, sorting, paginating, and taking action on individual entries.
CAUTION: Log Page configuration is saved on a User by User basis, so filtering or turning columns on/off could change the amount of data visible in your view.
Filtering
Clicking the Filter button will open the Filter. Multiple columns can be filtered at a time.
Each Column may contain slightly different filter options based on the type of data (date, text, number, etc.) the column contains.
The Filter values will save until cleared.
Log Page Menu
The three vertical dots to the right of the Filter open the Log Page Menu. Under this area Users can interact with the following:
Button | Function |
Columns | Provides the ability to show/hide columns on the Log Page |
Density | Provides options to increase the size of the font on the Log Page. |
Export | Opens a right side flyout that allows for eh Log Page to be exported as an Excel file. See Export below for more details. |
Reset | Clears all log page filters and returns the Log Page to its default state. |
Log Page Export
Exporting a Log Page is initiated by clicking on the Log Page Menu (three vertical dots) to the right of the Filter button and then selecting Export. The Log Page Export Options flyout provides a few options to ensure only the desired data is exported.
Only columns in view will not include any columns that have been hidden.
All columns will include all columns in the export file, even columns that have been hidden.
Only entries in view will limit the entries that are exported based on the Log Page pagination and any filters.
All entries will include all entries, even if filtered or not visible on the page due to pagination.
Sorting
Clicking on any Log Page column header will allow for the column to sort based on the value within the column.
Pagination
Located in the bottom right portion of the Log Page, pagination allows for users to select how many records display.
Action Buttons
The Action Buttons are located on the top right of each Log Page. The buttons available on the Log Page vary based on User Role, if/how many entries are selected and the current status of the selected Entry(s).
When only one (1) entry is selected, as seen above, clicking on the Action Button menu (three vertical dots to the right of the View button) opens up a menu with more, less commonly used, options.
When multiple entries are selected, the option to Bulk Edit is enabled. This allows for updating records in bulk.
NOTE: Only workflow steps available to all selected entries will display when bulk editing workflow.
