How do Daily Summary's work

The standard FACS Daily Summary template is designed to record the Project Engineer's official summary of information that occurred for a specific day.

Key Fields and Sections

General

  • Number (Required)

  • Date (Required)

  • Creator (Auto-filled)

Weather

  • Weather Table (records multiple time-specific entries)

    • Time, Condition, Temperature, Precipitation, Wind, Notes

  • Weather Day (optional field to track if the project was closed due to weather; supports project time reporting in future)

Remarks

  • General – notes about the day

  • Safety – record any safety concerns or updates

  • Issues – note any delays, problems, or concerns

 

Additional Features

  • This template includes standard system fields: Workflow, Contributors, Comments, and References
  • Daily Summary entries follow this workflow:
    • In Progress → Completed
