How to add new options into an existing list

In some Select Menu fields, new data values can be added into an existing data set directly from the entry.

Using the Personnel table as an example, when adding Personnel Users can select from the current list of values and add new Personnel into the source list - all from within the Entry.

By selecting the plus sign located on right side of the field, a new Add flyout opens that allows for adding the new Personnel on site.

The ability to add values to lists is set by the Account Administrator. As seen in the above example, new Personnel can be added and both new Classification types and Companies can be added to the Projects data set. This is the default ability within the system to ensure that all personnel working on a project can be easily captured.

Once a new value is added, it is automatically selected.

If adding more then one new value to a list, select Save and add another to easily add multiple values at the same time. Each value added will be automatically selected for the entry.

NOTE: Added values cannot be edited from within the Entry. Editing, or deleting, a value added in error must be done by a Project Manager or Project Administrator in the Project Settings / List area.

Please see How to enable Add from Entry to enable this feature on additional data lists.
